Welcome back, It's such a beautiful Mon. morning,
Remember that wedding name frame I mentioned? Well here it is. I had fun doing this frame, I kept the colors neutral because I didn't know what her color schemes were in her place.
Supplies used
Stamps: Empire alphabet, Occasional Quotes, Petite pairs and the rotary stamp that comes with the This and That Journal bundle.
Inks: Soft suede and Early Espresso
Card stock: Mocha Morning DSP (retired) very vanilla, soft suede, and Early Espresso, brushed gold for the butterflies.
Accessories: Big shot, Decorative label punch, Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon, beautiful wings embosslit, Trinket key, word label punch, Gold brads, Cute Clips. I think that's everything I used on it.
Also remember that Emma frame I posted for my Son's friend's baby girl? well Emma entered the world yesterday, so K.J's friend was a dad on Father's Day how cool is that? Going to see her sometime today, don't know the particulars but how exciting !

When It Rains it Pours
Good Morning, welcome back,
Ever had one of those months that everything happens at once? whether good or bad? Yeah you know the ones I mean, that was us last month. Just has the heat was coming in our central air went, and if you know my husband and the boys and some of you do, that wasn't going to fly, not to mention we live in a mobile home and it does get very hot, kinda like the green house effect. I'm more tolerant of the heat than they.
We had some one come out to look at it and we decided we needed a new central air system, o.k. Then our toilet kept overflowing and being plugged, now we needed a plumber, the plumber and the Central air people came on the same day . The plumber mentioned to us that our floor under the toilet was collapsing because of how many overflows we had. Because of that our hot water tank could have been in trouble so we had the floor done that same day as the plumber and the central air, so the carpenter came he works right in the mobile home park. They are all fixed and doing well (knock on wood). Yay! About a week after that we noticed we weren't getting any hot water, Now we bought out hot water tank only two years ago, someone came out to look at it which was 4 days later good thing it isn't winter, and thankfully we just need a part and not a whole new hot water tank. The part will be coming this week, in the mean time he was able to get the hot water to work, hopefully it will continue til Thurs. I truly hope we are done with all this now and things will continue to work and no more break downs. We have only lived here for two years.
I did make a name frame for my niece and her new husband who are getting married this weekend. I can't post it at the moment for she hasn't received it yet. I don't want to post it til after she sees it first. come back to visit to see it. Thanks for stopping by, til next time have a great day.
Hugs

Thanks SAS card
Welcome back,
Here is one of the cards we will be creating at my SAS class on Sunday June 9th from 5-8. We will be making 12 cards with envelopes and sayings if you would like for $15. There will be 3 thanks which is this card, 3 baby, 3 birthday and 3 sympathy.
Supplies:
Stamps: Vintage Verses
Inks: Basic Gray
card stock: Note cards and envelopes ( 20 pre cut and scored ww) with envelopes. Vellum Card stock
Accessories: Calypso Coral stampin write marker, basic jewel rhinestone, and butterfly punch.
I did the design behind the thanks by using a stampin write marker in this case Calypso coral colored the design on the stamp that said wishing you a day as perfect as you are just on the design and omitted the saying and then stamped the Thanks over it. A great technique when you only want a certain part of a stamp. come back soon to see the other cards we will be making that day.
Thanks for stopping by, til next time. Have a great evening.
Hugs!

Baby Emma Name Frame
Welcome back to my family and creative corner blog. It's been a busy week. We have had carpenters, plumbers and central air people in. Just about everything has been done and is working well, ( knock on wood) yay! Still need to have some drawers in the kitchen to be fixed.
Today is one of my days off and with all that other stuff behind me I decided to craft. Here is a frame that I made for my son's friend's and his girlfriend's baby girl who is due to arrive around
June 19th. I was procrastinating this because of the color combo. I really wanted to use the butterflies Dsp from the retired paper pack called Party Patio, there fore the colors were not your traditional baby girl colors but I was able to use some pink pirouette which matched the prim rose petals color and blended with the midnight Muse. I love making these frames. I think the colors worked o.k for a baby girl. Let me know what you think?
Here are the supplies I used for this frame.
Stamps: Alphabet Post, Distressed Dots B.G. stamp.
Inks: Primrose Petals
Card stock: WW 12 x 12 card stock, Party Patio DSP, primrose Petals.
Accessories: Big Shot, Beautiful wings sizlit , Basic Pearls, Pretty in Pink satin Ribbon, safety pin from Vintage Trinkets, 5/8 flower trim and colored them with Primrose Petals and Pink Pirouette stampin write markers, Little Leaves sizlit.
O.k. I think that was every thing, thanks for stopping by come back in a couple of days and see my SAS samples for my next upcoming class in June. Have a great day. Til next time.

Mothers's day 2013
Welcome back,
Mother's Day came and went. I worked from 8:30 til about 4:00, not a very fun way to celebrate Mother's Day. When I got home this is what was waiting for me on the table. My husband bought me the flowers and my younger son handed me the white chocolate Lindts when he picked me up that day. It really perked up my day. Then we went to Kimball's in NH to get my favorite Sundae, Peanut Butter chocolate chip ice cream with hot fudge and whip cream. It turned out to be a wonderful Mothers Day in the end.
Thanks Wayne and K.J.
Thanks for visiting, come back again. Til next time
Hugs everyone
