Little Miss Molly McGee and the hanger

Good Morning Friends,

This is  Little Miss Molly McGee our 10 year old cat. This was one of the storm days, I believe it was during Blizzard Nemo 2013. Every one was home both boys and my husband we were just hanging out together , when Molly came walking out into the living room wearing this hanger. She even jumped up onto the ledge where her food dish is located . She didn't seem bothered at all. We all laughed and  thought it was funny and took a couple of pictures and then we removed the hanger. We'll never know how she got onto it or why. It gave us something to talk about . She came out of our bedroom so she got it from our room, probably from our closet because that's where she will sleep when the dog isn't in there.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed your visit. Til next time.

My Paper Pumpkin Kit Creations.

  Good Morning Bloggers,
I don't know if any one is out there or if any one reads my blog , but I do enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts and creations. I'm still not very good at it but I am trying to get better, especially at the designing of it. I would love some feedback from any one who does stop in.
Any ways I received My Paper Pumpkin kit the other day from Stampin' Up !, and finally got some time to Stamp yesterday morning. I made 4 cards in less than an hour. I was so pleased. It was so easy with Paper Pumpkin, everything you need is in the box and prepared for you all's you have to do is adhere the parts to make a card. The box is great too! I see great potential for use of the box, such as a gift box to package hand made cards in or a gift set for someone. The first card I made right from the instructions and picture and then of coarse on the other three I had to stray a little being a SU Demo and all .
Here is the first card I made.
Here is the second card I made. I did case this one from Candice Weiss on Stampin' Connection. I changed the color of my butterflies to tempting Turquoise rather than Lucky Limeade I didn't have any Lucky Limeade card stock. The Butterflies were made with SU Beautiful Wings Die.
Here are the third and fourth cards. That last card is my own twist on the kit. I happened to have a big butterfly left from the die.  I decided to use it and make the splatter trail, following the butterfly. My Hey There I should have moved over a little or not carried my Splatter as low as I did. That's what I would do differently. I learned from my mistake.

So as you see paper pumpkin is definitely worth the $19.95 /month. If interested  or would like to learn more  about paper pumpkin check it out at www.mypaperpumpkin.com
Please leave a comment or any suggestions on how I could make this blog better , I would really appreciate it because I know this is very basic at the moment. Thanks for stopping by and check back soon where I will have a Mother's Day ensemble posted , card, gift bag, and gift. Til next time.

Stamping Time

O.k. So my long week has finally ended and I made it through, as I posted earlier in the week I had mentioned that it was going to be a long one. At work we had the big bosses in for training, and watching every thing we did, it was truly stressful. The big trainer boss left yesterday and I have  today and tomorrow off so that means they'll all be out of there by the time I get back.
Today I was able to grab some time for stamping and relaxing. I made a couple of birthday cards. The hello Kitty card is for my grand daughter who loves Hello Kitty. She will be 6 at the end of the month and the other one I used the chalkboard technique using what else? that's right, the Feeling Sentimental SAB set which I have grown to love.

Supplies used for the Hello Kitty card
Stamps: none
Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight
Ink: none
Accessories: 3/4 inch circle punch, for the eyes. 1 inch circle punch for the nose, the lg. oval punch for the face and 1/4 inch strips for the whiskers and a piece of red satin ribbon that I had in my stash.

Supplies I  used for the  Celebrate  card
Stamps: SAB Feeling Sentimental, That's The Ticket .
Inks: Whisper White Craft Ink and Red Riding Hood Red
Card Stock: Summer Starfruit and Riding Hood Red, and Basic Black.
Accessories: Ticket Duo punch and white seamed ribbon

                        How To

Chalkboard Technique.
Fist start by using Basic Black Card Stock and stamping your image in Whisper White Craft Ink on to the black card stock, also can emboss the image in white. Take a sponge and sponge some white ink around the image and on the image. You can make it heavier or as light as you want. That's it. It's super easy and I love the look. Give it a try.

Also just a reminder that SAB ends on March 22, so if your still interested in any of our SAB sets and products put your order in  asap at My Business Website  posted at the right of this entry. Thanks for stopping by. Check back often, I will have my next set of samples up for my Clearly Contagious girls. Til next time.

Long week ahead

Boy is it going to be a long week this week. Work is crazy, the big bosses are in and are rectifying us as servers now called Memory Makers. They will be in every day this week watching and observing every thing we do. talk about stressful, not looking forward to it all. Can't wait for this week to be done. I'm exhausted because I'm stressed out over all this. It makes me very nervous when the big wigs are in. Then we lost an hour sleep with the daylight Savings Time and I'm trying to play catch up. I'm half way through my week so it will all be over soon. Thanks for stopping by, I will have some more creations up soon come back and visit.Til next time have a great night.
