Hi Blogger friends,

Hurray!! Some stamping and relaxing time for me.I'm so thrilled. I just got finished that long week of grueling rehearsals for School House Rock Live that I have been involved in. The performance went on this past week end. It went fairly well. There were some funny situations during performances these kids had me so  worried  right up til the dress rehearsals but they got it together for the performance, that's why I love these guys they always seem to pull it together. I'm glad it's done because now I have more time for stamping and creating and getting my schedule of classes going. I have a class coming up this Sunday a Father's Day class we will be making a key chain or message board and a card to go along with it. I'm also getting ready for a SAS class that I am preparing for on Sun. June 10th from 4-7,also looking to get together for a new catalog open house sometime in June. So as you see I'm still busy just with different things. Here are a couple of cards that I plan on doing for the SAS. The card to the right will be used as a Thank you not a birthday. This stamp set sadly is retiring by the end of this month. Stamp set is called Studio Sketches, card stock used was ww, lucky limeade, and indigo blue, inks same color as card stock.
The card below is a sympathy card. This one is done in Always Artichoke and ww, but in class we will be using black and white,Craft white ink and thoughts and prayers was the stamp set, tulip EB folder also Vintage wallpaper EB folder on the bird's wing but can't be seen in this pic. and a rhinestone for the eye. Girl/boy dinoroar b-day cards

Good Morning friends,

It's Monday morning and we finally got some rain which I guess was much needed. This is gong to be a very busy week. I have been choreographing School House Rock Live in Acton and this is Tech week coming up. Tech week lets say is aghhhh! It's been a fun show and the kids are great, I just dread tech week as does everyone else I know. This is when we iron out all the bugs and work with sets and props, lighting and sound. Eventually everything usually comes together. This will be along week though. The show goes up this week end.
This is a birthday card  for a kid this is the girl version I have a boy version too same card different colors let's see if I can get that pic up.
Yes here it is. It's a little clearer than the girl version. I don't know why my pics on my camera seem to be blurry lately It's driving me crazy, the videos come out so clear. These are done with a Stampin' Up! set called Dinoroar,I love the set and dinosaurs seem to be big with girls and boys. The top card is done with Soft suede,Pink Pirouette, Lucky, Limade card stock and same colors of ink also. I used the aqua painter to watercolor also I used the branch from our Halloween stamp set called Out On A Limb and the leaves from Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I then used  the square Lattice Embossing folder with the Big Shot. The boy card is done all with Soft Suede Card stock, same ink colors. The boy card I used vintage Brads to adhere the green piece on the girl card I used miscelaneus  heart brads and then I put a flower brad on the head of the triceratops to make her girly. Can't be seen real well. This could possibly be one of the Birthday sas cards, I don;t know yet. I will be having that in June.
Thanks for stopping by til next time.

Hello Blogger friends,

The retired list is up . Probably one of the longest lists SU has had. I don't know how many stamp sets I've lost, I haven't really focused on that yet. I'm guessing 5 or 6 any ways. I have to check my closet and start organizing it and sell some of the sets that I own that will be now gone. I'm sorry to see some go but very excited to see what's coming up. Send me your thoughts on the retiring stamp sets. The retiring accessories list and products will be out by April 23. I will have that up as soon as it is released so check back soon. I can't wait til the sneek peek comes out. I have posted the list on my side bar so go ahead take a peek.

Here is a card that I made for a girl that I work with for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day.He really likes penguins. She thought it was cute and she said he really liked it. I was Happy with it, considering it was a male card always challenging.
I used the Zoo Review stamp set which I really am glad it didn't retire because I'm just getting to use it.
Card stock: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, and I can't off hand remember the name of the Designer Series paper. Ink: Staz on Black.
Accessories: Snowflake EB folder Big Heart punch and of coarse the Big Shot.
Thanks for looking ,til next time.

The Monday after Easter

Happy Monday after Easter day everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We did it was a great day for just getting together with family and friends and enjoying dinner and great company. My boys are older now so there is no Easter Bunny or egg hunts anymore. In fact one of my boys went to an anime convention in Boston over the weekend and the older boy spent Easter with his dad and girlfriend. I miss those times.
This is a card I created for my 1 year old nephew. I did it with My Digital Studio, which I'm still trying to learn, I'm getting better with practice, I beginning to enjoy it a bit more. What I do like about it ,is that everything is in one place on the computer. My stamps and paper and punches are in different area in my house because I have a small area  to create in so there is a lot of up and down when I'm using my stamps and card stock. When I start pulling out all my supplies it become a huge process and then I have to pick up after I'm done because there is no room to leave them. At the other house I was able to leave my projects I was working on out because I had a specific table to leave them on that wasn't in the way of  anything now I use the Kitchen table to work on and we also have to use that same table to eat on, so I can't leave them out.
Thanks for stopping by, til next time

MDS birthday card

Hello everyone,

I know I just blogged but here is a cute card that I created with MDS. I cased this from the March Stampin' Success cover. I'm just beginning to use and get use to MDS. It's getting a little easier to figure out. I was so over whelmed with it in the beginning. Thanks for looking. Happy Stamping

Checking in

Hello everyone,

It's been a couple of busy months for me again. I really have to stop taking on more than I can. Between work , my stamping buissines , and choreographing for a musical that we are doing in Acton, I just keep running out of time in a day to do everything.
I did have a SAS last month and it turned out great. There were nine of us, mostly everyone got done within the three hours that I a lotted plus we had time to eat. We made 12 cards 3 of each design. They were really easy cards, I also had a workshop in the month of Feb. I haven't had one of those in a while. That went super well they learned to use the Big Shot and the bigz elegant bird diez , Most of them were seasoned stampers so it went quickly. They haven't been into SU in a few years so they wanted to get back into it and were excited about all the new products such as The Big Shot and the embossing folders which weren't there when they were last involved in SU. It was exciting to see their enthusiasim.
I am now preparing for a Mother's Day themed class in April. We will be making a Gift , a card and a cute bag using the Elegant Bird bigz die. I'm waiting for responses at the moment. I only have one person signed up a couple of them all ready told me that they won't be able to make it. Hopefully I hear from some of the others soon .
I had some cards which I uploaded but once again I can't get them to show up on the blog.Boy do I miss my scanner it was easy to upload and put them into a file called SU cards.Til next time. Enjoy and Happy Easter to you all.

My first upload in awhile.

Hello everyone,

I am in business  I finally tried my  camera and usb chord to upload photos and it's not too difficult. Now I just need to  remember to take pics of my creations rather than scanning them and then I can upload them.
This scrapbook picture I did sometime during May and just found the pic on my camera and a bunch of others that I uploaded to this computer. This was K.J. and his girlfriend Liz on her Junior Prom night. He's still with her, they have been together a year now. I still have his senior prom to put into a scrap book pg. She wore a red dress to that one. This was made with the Nature Walk designer series paper and the beautiful butterfly sizlits ,old olive card stock, basic black, night of Navy and I think it's Marina Mist with the crochet trim ribbon and the basic pearls and the vanilla rosettes which I colored with the Night of Navy SU marker. I'm happy with the way it came out, my pic isn't that great though , next time I'll do better with the picture taking, hopefully. Thanks for stopping by have a nice evening. Til next time.
Happy stamping,
Pam

Happy New year!

Happy New Year To everyone.

Well a new year has begun, not much has happened yet.  My brother and I have been planning an 80th birthday party for my mother. I'm in charge of creating the invites. I kept them pretty simple I'm almost done. I need to make at least 4 more. It should be a nice time, about 38 people I think.
Winter has set in this week. It has been really cold here today and I think tomorrow also.We have been sooo lucky this year. The weather hasn't been too bad and still no snow. The last snow we had was that huge storm in October, very weird the weather lately.
My hubby and I have seen three movies in the last two weeks. There are so many movies that I want to see this time. We went to see We Bought A Zoo, it was really good it was what I call a feel good movie. You laughed, you cried, it was a true story. New Year's eve we went see War horse, it also was very good another one for laughing and crying it was so heartwarming. The last one had me curious so I had to see it and that was Hugo. It was ok ,I think they could have done more with it. The story was very good. We saw it in 2D,most everyone said it was the type of movie to see in 3D, I think it was probably much better in 3D. There are still a couple of others out there that we would like to see Sherlock Holmes and Mission Impossible 4 and even maybe The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but I think we'll have to get them on Netflix. Nights seem to be so long with it getting dark early but we are now going the other way. Take care, thanks for stopping by til next time.
