Hello Stampin friends,

Made it through another weekend, not much went on. Can you believe that June has come and gone. It feels like the kids have just gotten out of school . The 4rth of July is just around the corner. I've been busy stamping and enjoying all the new colors from the SU color renovation and playing with some of the new sneek peeks stamp sets because as a demo we are able to order some of the sets before they go out to our customers. It 's been a pretty productive week at home, my waitressing job and my SU buisiness. Here are a couple of cards that we will be making at the next workshop on the 11th of July. It's a chance for my customers to look through the new catty get some feedback from them and such. Yes they are cased . Two of them will demonstrate the collage stamping technique and the other one will use new colors and DSP. This time of year is always a tough time to get my girls together so it will be small. Here are the recipes for the cards.

A Fun weekend

Hello Stamping friends,

The weekend is coming to a close, I can't believe how fast it went by. All and all we had a very nice weekend.
My husband is a huge fan of Jimmy Buffet, so I got tickets to his concert in Mansfield which is an outdoor place. This was a combination of A Father's Day and anniversary gift. We first went to dinner at a place called The wayside Inn.the food was excellent  and it was just a nice time, we then proceeded to the concert. We were an hour early and we couldn't get into the parking lot so we ended up parking about a mile away and walked into the park. It was packed we were on the lawn but the night was great and full of life We were dancing and singing along and having a good time. The way some of the fans dressed was  fun too. It was a great concert. After the concert we got lost in the parking lot and couldn't find the foot path that we came in on. Well that took awhile, we did finally find it and finally got to our car. Got caught in the traffic but finally that thinned out and we got home at about 12:45 and to bed by 1:15 am, Of coarse I had to work this morning and it was Father's day so the restaurant was busy. By the time I left work the short night caught up to me, came home and took a nap, luckily I had the whole house to myself. The whole experience was worth it though. It was a great weekend.

On A Roll with Tropical Party stamp set

Hello stamping friends,
Today was the last day of school for my son, summer has officially begun Hurray! I came home to a house full, my son Paddy ,his girlfriend Jen and my other son K.J. It was kinda nice to have them all here for a short time. Now it's quiet. Here are a couple of cards that I made the other day,I was on a roll I made about 7 or 8 using this Tropical party stamp set. I felt very tropical and summery that day. Very sad that this set didn't make it into the new 2010-11 catty. It's so summery I figured it would have. The other set called Sentimental Journey also didn't make it into the new catty, :( . I was very surprised, but both are in the summer mini which is good til the end of August.

Recipe for these three cards Are

Slower paced days are coming

Hello everyone,
It was a busy weekend,  I worked and we had our annual recital which went really well. Everyone was wonderful and did a really good job. Thriller brought the house down. Yesterday I finally got some ideas for stamping and made quite a few cards. Also my new SU catty arrived a day early along with my  my pre order of the new color kit pads and card stock and markers, I was so excited, also got  the free stamp set that went with that and really want to play but I have to clean up yesterday's mess first.
The kids will be out of school tomorrow and everything will be coming to an end, dance classes, boy scouts, after school activities and no fighting about home work in the evening or fighting with my son to get up so he can make it to school on time. I love this time of year a little more relaxed during the summer months. I still will be working and doing my monthly classes but it's not as fast paced as it is during the rest of the year. Hopefully I'll get a few days at the beach this summer also.
Well I'm off to clean up my stamp space so I can mess it up again, I will be uploading some of the cards I made in a few days. Thanks for stopping by,till next time

My Ghoulish son and friends

Good morning everyone,
Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend last week. It was so beautiful that my family and I spent  most of the time outdoors.
This weekend and week I've spent most of the time getting K.j . We my son and I ready for dress rehearsal for our annual dance recital. He had to shred a perfectly good suit to make it look old,I felt so guilty doing it, he did a good job though, one of the mother's gave K.J a suit that was her husband's and he couldn't use it anymore, so K.J could. Dress rehearsal was Sat and surprisingl shorter than I thought it would be. The recital is ending with a tribute to Michael Jackson and my son happened to be in the group that is doing Thriller. I was so impressed with the stage set up, dance routine, costumes, and make-up that I had to get a picture of it all, but of coarse I forgot my camera so one of the mother's sent me a few of the ones she had taken, thanks Diane. Don't they look great. I will be posting another one that is the ending pose in their dance on stage, they really look like real zombies. The teacher choreographed it similar to the video, but no one could do it like him but she stayed close and she kept the signature moves and steps. I can't wait to scrap book some of these photo, I think one page done with the picture in black and white will be cool. Hope you have a nice day, thanks for visiting, til next time.
