1st year wedding Anniversary Owls

Hello Everyone,

It's Monday and it's been a very busy day again. I started my morning off with bringing my son for his Senior pictures. They just did the indoor ones today, because it was rainy. I need to schedule another day to do outdoor ones. Brought him to school and then went for a  late breakfast with my hubby because he had some vacation time that he had to use up.

Anyways my niece and her husband are celebrating their first year wedding Anniversary . Here is the card that I made and will be sending to them soon. I get tired of doing the traditional type of cards for occasions. Although this one is cased, I can't remember who from. I thought it was cute.

Recipe for card
 Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes.
 Inks: Chocolate Chip.
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Island Oasis DSP, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, WW.
Accessories: Lg Owl Punch, Little leaves sizzlits, Googglie Eyes

That's all for tonight, I'm going back to being creative before Dancing With the Stars comes on. Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your evening. Til next time.

Happy Stamping!

Happy Fall and Sunday

Hey everyone!

Happy Fall to you all. I believe it came in at like 11:00 pm Sat night. It's been kind of a productive day today. Of coarse I worked this morning, it was really really slow :( . My husband went to his nephew's to catch the Patriots game, my son K.j went to gramma's  house to do some yard work and my older son Paddy who knows?  He was gone when I got home. I had the whole house to myself and thought it would be great time to do some  stamping.
I have two weddings to go to. One next Sat. and the other in the beginning of Nov so here is the card I will be using for both weddings because they are different families. This card started out as a case and then of coarse I strayed.
Stamps: French Foliage, French script for back ground, and Occasional Quotes.
Inks: Concord, Pear Pizzaz, Soft Suede.
Card stock: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizazz.
Accessories: Lg Decorative Label Punch, Lg oval Punch, SU self adhesive Pearls. Retired Ribbon called Originals.

This next card I also started to case and strayed . I have't used this stamp set much yet or the color concord.
Stamps: Sense Of Time, French Script, Vintage Vogue
Inks: Concord , Pear Pizazz, Basic Black.
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Concord,The base of the card is Concord and then Very vanilla but it doesn't really show up on this scan,

My weekend Begins

Hello Everyone,
It's Monday, the beginning of my weekend. It's been an interesting week at work. There is a baby skunk that has been roaming the grounds, he is so cute and little, he comes very close to people and then just looks at them and goes on his way. I heard somewhere that baby skunks don't spray because their smell sacks aren't quite mature but I 'm not sure of that. I know there was a skunk smell the other day when I was leaving work. On Thurs we had our door open to let in the fresh air and this spunky pup came in and visited, he was really cute and friendly, apparently he was getting out of the car and he ran into our place before the owner was able to put the leash on him, she wasn't far behind him but he did manage to get into the back room and visit our grill lady. His owner caught up to him and took him out. That was the excitement in our restaurant for the week. Here are a couple of cards I made today, keeping in the scheme of Fall.

Halloween cards for World card making day

Hi Everyone,
Wow! I can't believe how cool and crisp the last couple of mornings have been. The weather is changing so quickly. A week ago it was so hot and humid and very summery, now it's been cool, feeling more like Fall. The leaves are already beginning to change. I love the Fall, early fall that is, as it gets later I'm not quite as crazy about it especially when it gets real cold. I will admit this cool crisp weather has really gotten me in the mood to think about Halloween, Fall and Thanksgiving cards. Here are the three Halloween cards we will be making in my World card making Day class on Sun Oct 3rd. If you live kind of close by and want to join us contact me for more details by e-mail pamlynnc@comcast.net we would love to have you.

How was every body's weekend and Labor Day?  Ours was very nice we enjoyed a late graduation party yesterday, my 19 year old's girlfriend. She has already started college at Worcester State, Pat doesn't start til tomorrow.
I received a very cute owl card from one of my SCS pen pals Rita Jourdan and it was so cute, I wanted to case it, so here it is I used Peach Parfait instead of Pear Pizazz and the owls are different colors too. We will be making this in one of my monthly classes, Great way to use the Owl Punch which I love, also will show how to use this punch to make a Halloween ghost in the next month. Thanks Rita for the cute idea and card.

Anyways I made an early Halloween card with some of the new stuff I had received and used a little old stuff too. I don't  make many Halloween cards, don't get me wrong I like Halloween and the decorations and cards but my boys are too old now.:(  The girls that come to my monthly classes do have younger children so I always try to do something Halloween for them. I will make some candy bag treats for my regular customers at the restaurant though.
